HORLICKS COLLECTIONS
India is a rich and diverse place, steeped in centuries of culture that differs greatly from region to region. In order to celebrate the local cultural nuances, Horlicks commissioned a range of packs that are inspired by famous local art movements and styles.

The first in the range is the Horlicks homage to 'Madhubani', an art style that dates back many centuries and stems from the Indian state of Bihar in the north east of India.
The original art was usually created by the women of the villages, using twigs, fingers and basic brushes with naturally created pigments.
The second in the collections range is a design inspired by 'Jamini Roy' (1887 – 1972), and artist born in the Bengali region of India with a very unique and collectable style. 'Jamini' art is still very highly sought after.
The Jamini family were consulted on the commissioning of this pack to ensure the interpretation is fit to hold the 'Jamini Roy' name.
